For young and aspiring swimmers, Torri Huske encouraged them to 'do what they are passionate about'. 'If you are not going to enjoy the sport then it's probably not going to be for you', she said. 'It's a really big commitment especially if you want to get to the higher levels.'

Her background and motivations

A native of Arlington, Virginia, Torri Huske began swimming around the age of five. She is the daughter of Jim and Ying Huske. After finishing fourth in the Olympics, Huske was motivated to work harder and improve her performance.

The digital age and recovery

On being a swimmer in the digital age, Torri Huske explained that technology has made training easier. She uses Normatec and Hyperice massage guns for recovery purposes. 'They definitely help with recovery', she admitted.

Upcoming events

Torri Huske is looking forward to the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials in Indianapolis. She will decide on a major at the end of her sophomore year at Stanford University in California. Her favorite event is the butterfly, which she calls 'my child'.
